Who is Jason Duval in GTA 6?
Jason Duval’s story begins in a troubled environment. According to Rockstar, he grew up around criminals and con artists, making it difficult to avoid trouble during his teenage years.
In an effort to turn his life around, he joined the Army. However, his attempt at a fresh start did not go as planned. After leaving the military, he eventually found himself back in the criminal underworld of Leonida.
In the start of the game you will see Jason is working for local drug-running operations in the Leonida Keys. He performs jobs for veteran smuggler Brian Heder while trying to figure out what direction his life should take.
Meeting Lucia could either save him or make his situation even worse. Whether their partnership leads to success or disaster remains one of the biggest mysteries in the game.
Who is Lucia Caminos in GTA 6?
Lucia Caminos marks a historic moment for the Grand Theft Auto franchise as its first female protagonist.
Originally from Liberty City, Lucia was raised by a father who taught her how to fight from an early age. Those survival skills became essential throughout her life.
However, something she did later on landed her in Leonida Penitentiary. Rockstar has not revealed the exact crime that led to her imprisonment, but Lucia’s official profile suggests she views the incident as a consequence of trying to defend the people she cared about.
After being released, she is determined to build a better future. Unlike her earlier mistakes, she now wants to approach life more strategically. Still, her plans seem closely tied to crime and the opportunities it provides.
A Bonnie and Clyde Story in Leonida
The relationship between Jason and Lucia appears to be the emotional core of GTA 6. Both characters come from difficult backgrounds and share a desire to have a better life, yet they continue to be drawn toward dangerous criminal activities.
Trailer footage shows the pair working together during robberies, police chases, and high-risk operations.
While Rockstar has introduced several supporting characters, including bank robber Raul Bautista, drug runner Brian Heder, and music producer Boobie Ike, Jason and Lucia remain the main characters of the story.
